Alicia Harper is originally from New Brunswick. Alicia brings to the table 20 some odd years of horseback riding experience in many disciplines. Alicia is certified as an Equine Canada Competition Coach working on her Competition Coach Specialist. She is a mentor to many students who have accomplished certification with Equine Canada and currently holds a judge card . Alicia has her 3 different certifications EC English Competition Coach, EC English Instructor and the new Western Basic Training.

Alicia was a Canadian Pony Club member for most of her younger years, achieving her C2 level. Over the years Alicia has attended clinics with coaches and trainers such as: Beth Underhill, Sue Jack, Robin Hahn, Paula Jacobs and Will Simpson. Alicia rode under renowned coach Stacey Maxwell of Sussex, New Brunswick for many years, Yolanda Blommers, Dr Susan Thompson and Jodie Moore.

She has participated in 3 day events, dressage and hunter/jumper. She has also shown successfully in the Arabian, QH and Paint Circuit. Alicia has shown all over BC, NB, NS and PEI. And continues to show around the Lower Mainland and B.C. now. She currently rides up to 4` in the jumper ring and the 3′6″  in the  Hunter ring while she is bringing up her current project horses.

Alicia is very active in the horse community and prides herself in giving back. She has held positions such as VP Membership & Marketing  for Horse Council of BC, Secretary of Delta Riding Club and has been the Vice President for the Mission Horse Club.

Alicia`s current students are generally competing in either Hunter, Jumper or Eventing disciplines. If you are interested in learning more about Alicia`s teaching style – please take a look over her Youtube Channel.

Alicia`s barn is always full of Hunter/Jumper horses with experience in the Hunter and Jumpers rings. They are well schooled educated horses which she uses for her lessons.  She has also usually has some up and comers as well. Feel free to inquire if you are looking for a horse to purchase.
