We offer regular lessons in Western disciplines for any rider over the age of 8. We have a number of programs available for different age groups.
We have horses available to use for lessons or you may bring your own. Our horses are suitable for all levels of riders but are limited in the amount of riders and their ability.
Lessons are available in private (1 on 1) or groups. Privates are easily booked while the groups require skills matching and horse availability which can make booking a little more difficult. We also have semi private and group lessons that students can move into after they have spent some time in privates.
Types of lessons
Beginner Lessons
Beginner lessons are private (1 on 1) for those aged 8+. Adults are welcome as well. Riders are considered beginners until they can ride independently at the walk, jog and lope.
WEE Riders
a program designed for those who are 5-8 years old but no riding experience.The program starts with off the horse exercises and learning and builds towards Tiny Tot lessons
Little Riders
A calm, weekly program for young or first-time riders. Little Riders offers one-on-one instruction using our quiet school horses, helping children build confidence & comfort through the 4 weeks.
Intermediate/Advanced
We offer intermediate lessons to those riders who are looking to increase their skills in horsemanship, pleasure or reining. Lessons are available in private format, semi-private, group format and regular clinics.
Remote Riding Lessons
What are remote lessons? you can video and then you post your video to a private youtube channel for review and receive feedback on that video. Or schedule a time and use the Pixem and the live lesson function .
Rider Level Program
We offer the rider level program to our in-barn and remote clients. Riders can work thru the rider level program with their own coach and test remotely or can test right here in the barn on our lesson horses.
